Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a live Facebook broadcast that the rally convened on 1 March, at 18:30, will once again confirm the people’s power.
“An attempt is being made to create some tensions, they are talking about civil clashes and the new 1 March. There will be no more 1 March in Armenia, there will be no more civil clashes, tomorrow’s rally must show that determination,” Pashinyan said, adding that they have no enemies in Armenia, have not had, and will not have. “Everyone, regardless of their political views and positions, are our brothers and sisters.”
The Prime Minister noted that during the rally tomorrow he will touch upon the “1 March case” trial, the attempt of a military coup, the judicial reforms, the “incomprehensible” decision made by the President of the Republic․ I will show that this decision is absolutely groundless, it has no legal basis.”
According to him, the statement of the SJC chairman months ago is as unacceptable as the statement of the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
