Tigran Martirosyan, a participant of the Artsakh war, says that there was information about enemy’s gatherings on the border, but they did not know that there would be large-scale operations.
“It was a very unequal fight. It is true that our 18-year-old boys behaved very bravely, but it was very unequal fight. Maybe, if we could close the air force, we would have win,” Tigran Martirosyan said.
He noted that the news of the 9 November statement was not well received well on the frontline. “But we understood that there was no option, if there weren’t these conditions, we would not exist either,” he said.
