Today, on 21 January, during the Government session, the executive made a decision on appointing Hovhannes Harutyunyan governor of Shirak.

“It is a great honor for me to assume the post of Shirak governor, to serve the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian people, especially in these difficult times,” Harutyunyan said.

The Prime Minister mentioned that he had previously held a high state position, had been the Deputy Minister of Health. Good luck to Hovhannes Harutyunyan.

By another decision, Tigran Petrosyan was relieved of the post of Shirak governor.
