“The Pope’s reference to the Artsakh issue

The leader of the Catholic Church, addressing the annual Urbi et orbi message on Christmas, which is interpreted as “an apostolic blessing to (the city of) Rome and the world”, on 25 December also referred to the Artsakh issue.

In this regard, His Holiness particularly noted, “Let the Son of the Most High uphold the commitments of the international community, the countries involved in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the continuation of the ceasefire in the eastern regions of Ukraine, to promote dialogue as the only way to peace, to reconciliation…”
