“During the day, 2.85 km of roads, 5.9 hectares of terrain in Stepanakert were cleared of unexploded ordnance. 104 explosive objects were found and neutralized. In total, during demining in Nagorno-Karabakh, 14.67 hectares of territory, 5.5 km of roads were cleared, 81 housing buildings were cleared, and 416 explosive objects were discovered and destroyed.”

It is noted that 2115 people returned to Nagorno Karabakh from Armenia with the support of Russian peacekeeping forces during the day. In total, 21,083 refugees have returned to their former places of residence since 14 November, 2020.
“Russian peacekeepers assisted in resuming the educational process at Stepanakert School No. 2. Its grand opening took place yesterday. More than 400 schoolchildren sat at their shcool desks.
Assistance is provided for the restoration of Stepanakert School No. 8. Restoration work and replacement of window panes are now being completed. Its opening is scheduled for December 1,” the statement said.
