“Bright Armenia” offers to lift the martial law. The head of the faction Edmon Marukyan announced this on the tribune of the National Assembly.

“We have already collected signatures by factions, today at 18:30 we are convening an extraordinary sitting, dear colleagues, please come: During that session, we propose to end the martial law, after which to return the freedoms in the country, to give an opportunity for the democratic processes to take place. I would like to remind that martial law has been declared for mobilization in the country, no martial law was declared during the first Artsakh war in the history of Armenia, so that Armenia does not become a party to the war, this time it has been declared. When I said why we are declaring ir, I was told we need mobilization, I said, well. The mobilization is over. The Chief of the General Staff said to delay for at least 7 days, let the martial law remain for at least 7 days, it was on the 10th of the month, and today is the 17th of the month. Then 7 days have passed. We propose to lift the martial law. Please come to that sitting and vote for lifting the martial law,” Edmon Marukyan said.
