In a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed developments in the Karabakh conflict zone, the Kremlin press service reported.
“The developments in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone were discussed. The Russian side is deeply concerned about the ongoing military action, as well as the growing involvement of terrorists in the Middle East conflict,” the statement said.
It is noted that Putin informed his counterpart about the contacts with the leadership of Azerbaijan and Armenia, the steps taken to reach a ceasefire and defuse the crisis.
