On 16 May, four candidates applied to the Constitutional Court, in connection with disagreement on the decision reached by the results of the Armenian National Assembly’s proportional-system elections.
Two candidates sent their applications via post. The applications were registered in the constitutional Court on 17 May. NA candidates Samvel Harutyunyan, from electoral district 37, Manuel Gasparyan electoral district 3, Nikol Pashinyan from electoral district 7, Levon Zurabyan from electoral district 9, Gagik Nersisyan from electoral district 17, and Davit Martirosyan from electoral district 38, submitted their complaints to the Constitutional Court.
All applicants dispute the decisions of the election commission of their electoral districts, which were based on the results of the votes of proportional-system.
President of the Constitutional Court instructed the Court Judges in the order provided by the law, to examine the petitions and to report the results.
The Armenian National Congress’ alliance of [political] parties has applied to the Constitutional Court, on 18 May, at 16:00, in connection with the disagreement over the decision reached by the results of the Armenian National Assembly’s proportional-system elections.
