As of 11:00 on 26 August, a total of 43067 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed the Ministry of Health informs, of which:
- 36726 – recovered,
- 861 – with death (there are 3 new deaths),
- 5216patients are currently receiving actual treatment.
- The death toll, for other reasons, is 264 (when patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection but died of another disease, there are 4 new such case).
In total, 198569 tests were performed.
Thus, we have 131 new cases of coronavirus disease and 251 recovered, 1696 tests were performed.
According to the ministry, the patients who died were 58 years old (female), 63 years old (male) and 79 years old (male). They all had concomitant chronic diseases.
