The briefing of Artsrun Hovhannisyan and Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan is taking place in Ijevan, at the Crisis Information Center.
Artsrun Hovhannisyan referred to “Yashma”:
“This is an elite subdivision. It is logical that in the previous days, the Azerbaijani 3rd Army Corps, the border troops failed to solve their combat task, and an elite unit should have been used after the president’s loud statements,” he said.
According to Hovhannisyan, “Yashma” is one of their special brigades, on the basis of which the Azerbaijani special forces are trained.
He mentioned that now the border is relatively calm, but the dynamics is changing quickly.
