Mane Tandilyan, a member of the “Bright Armenia” faction of the  National Assembly’s, made a post on her Facebook page, which reads:

“Dear journalists,

Many of you ask, whether the deputies can they apply to the Constitutional Court with 26 signatures?

I would like to note that according to Article 169, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution, at least 1/5 of the deputies, i.e. 20%, may apply to the Constitutional Court.

26 deputies make up 19.7%, which is definitely less than 20%, from 1/5.

Therefore, the CC has no right to accept the application as it has never happened before.”
