The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, presided over by Judge Robert Papoyan, published the decision on MP Gagik Tsarukyan’s lawyers’ motion on self-withdrawal of the presiding judge.
The court rejected the lawyers’ motion, Robert Papoyan will continue to examine the case.
Notably, earlier the National Security Service conducted a search in the private house of NA deputy Gagik Tsarukyan.
Further, the NSS informed that a criminal case has been initiated on the activities of “Onira Club” and “Shangri-La” casinos belonging to “Onira Club” LLC,which were presented as an investment of 61,146,139,340 billion AMD and caused the state 29,750,000,000 AMD. According to the second statement, the National Security Service revealed that in another criminal case, hundreds of cases of distributing election bribes by the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) were also revealed, in which the leading members of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) were also involved.
