Gagik Tsarukyan’s supporters are protesting near the National Security Service building. Among them are also the deputies of the NA PAP faction.
PAP MP Shake Isayan told reporters that it is very likely that tomorrow the National Assembly will convene a special session and deprive PAP faction leader Gagik Tsarukyan of his parliamentary immunity.
“We consider it probable that after our announcement of the well-known sitting, at dawn in all our territorial structures, at 7 in the morning, they entered to search. I don’t remember exactly how many people were detained. They even confiscated the children’s phones. We can only clearly state that this is political persecution,” the MP said.
It should be noted that this morning a search was carried out at the house of Gagik Tsarukyan, a member of the “Prosperous Armenia” faction of the National Assembly, and now he has been summoned for questioning at the National Security Service.
Notably, the NSS issued two statements today.
