Arthur Javadyan, the Chairman of the Central Bank, was participating in the regular sitting of the Government for the last time on 11 June.
“Today, for the first time since the appointment, the newly appointed Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Edward Hovhannisyan, the newly appointed Director of the National Security Service Argishti Kyaramyan and the newly appointed Chief of Police Vahe Ghazaryan are taking part in the Government sitting. We salute you, gentlemen, and wish you success. And for the last time, Arthur Javadyan, the Chairman of the Central Bank, is taking part in today’s Government sitting.
Mr. Javadyan, I would like to thank you for your work as the Chairman of the Central Bank. These have been quite turbulent years, and during this time the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia has manifested itself as a viable structure, ensuring the stability of the financial system and prices in the Republic of Armenia. Of course, we have talked, you will continue to be involved in our common affairs, and we will make decisions about that in the near future. And now I suggest that we applaud Mr. Javadyan from the post of the Chairman of Central Bank,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
Notably, on 17 April, Martin Galstyan was elected Chairman of the Central Bank in the National Assembly.
