Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a regular sitting of the Commission Coordinating the Work on preventing the Spread of Coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia.

After the sitting, the Prime Minister, General Director of the “National Center for Disease Control and Prevention” SNCO Artavazd Vanyan and the Director of “Surb Grigor Lusavorich” MC Arman Hovakimyan made a statement.

Arman Hovakimyan, director of “Surb Grigor Lusavorich” MC, said that today 95% of the beds in the resuscitation department of the Medical Center are occupied, and 80% in the rest departments. To date, the MC has admitted about 1,470 patients infected with coronavirus, 450 of whom have been severe and extremely severe. At the same time, critically ill patients need a resuscitation unit, which is the most difficult for these days. Severe and extremely severe cases have increased in recent days.
