The number of deaths from coronavirus in Armenia has reached 48. According to the Ministry of Health, the 48th dead patient was a 65-year-old man. He did not have a chronic illness.
This is the second case without chronic disease. A statement issued on 30 April said that a 69-year-old patient who died did not have a chronic illness.
It should be reminded that 21 deaths were registered when coronavirus infection was confirmed in patients, but the death occurred due to another disease.
The youngest patient to die from coronavirus was 27 years old.
