At the April 16 regular sitting, the government made a decision to expand the circle of beneficiaries of the 8th and 9th measures to neutralize the economic consequences of the coronavirus.
Zaruhi Batoyan Minister of Labor and Social Affairs presented the decision to the members of the executive.
It was mentioned that the following categories can benefit from the 8th program as well:
- Land transport activities (route transport),
- Preschool education (private kindergartens)
- Sports activities (sports clubs, swimming pools),
- Registered employees of entertainment and other leisure organizations.
Families where the parent with registered job as of 12 March, 2020, was on leave for a child under 3 years of age, may also be a beneficiary of the 9th measure on Approving the Procedure for One-Time Assistance to Families with Children under the age of 18, as a result of the difficulties caused by the spread of Coronavirus adopted on 10 April .
