The Well-Known Kuala Lumpur Principles and the 2019-2022 RA Anti-Corruption Strategy and its Implementation Action Plan: The Distance Learning Course of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders was held

On 9 April, 2020, the regular distance learning course of the 5th stream of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders took place. The topic of the course was “The Well-Known Kuala Lumpur Principles and the 2019-2022 RA Anti-Corruption Strategy and its Implementation Action Plan.” Ms Suzanna Soghomonyan, a Lawyer/Anti-Corruption Expert at the Armenian Lawyers’ Association delivered the lecture.

During the course, the lecturer presented the well-known Kuala Lumpur principles and their content. She mentioned the key role of Kuala Lumpur principles in the development of anti-corruption strategy, justification of content, monitoring and evaluation of the strategies.

Speaking about the 2019-2022 RA Anti-Corruption Strategy and its Implementation Action Plan, the lecturer mentioned to what extent it is in-line to the above-mentioned principles.

Within the framework of the training, reference was also made to the methodological instruction of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, which application is also important at the stage of strategy development.

At the end of the lesson, the listeners were assigned the regular task.
