Police continue to enforce Commandant’s decision to restrict the free movement of persons to prevent the possible spread of the new coronavirus.

Since the decision came into force, by 09.00 on 26 March, protocols on administrative offense have been drawn up against 286 individuals, 150 in the capital and 136 in the regions for violations of isolation or self-isolation rules or other restrictions on the right to free movement. 60 people did not have an ID card. They were taken to territorial divisions, where their identity was verified and protocols were drawn up.

We once again urge the population to strictly limit leaving their homes and leave homes only in case of urgent need. Drivers are advised to have only one passenger in accordance with the requirements of the Commandant’s decision.
