Commandant Tigran Avinyan has made a new decision restricting the right of people to freedom of movement throughout the Republic of Armenia until 31 March, at 23:59 and compulsory self-isolation of persons in their permanent residence or at any other place of their choice: to limit direct contact with others and prevent possible spread of the infection.

There are exceptions to this point.

• Departure and return to the workplace of employees of businesses of not prohibited types of economic activity, persons entitled to the workplace will be possible only in the presence of a written statement containing the specified information and an identification document;
• Foodstuffs, pharmacies, agricultural markets, hospitals, and other medical establishments selling foodstuffs in and out of trade, places of residence or residence of persons in need of care, places of burial and burial, as set out in the appendix hereto and the information provided hereto, if an identity document is present.
• For physical or cycling exercise only once a day near the place of residence, in the form of a sheet of paper and an identification document as set out in the Appendix to this Decision;

Leaving for shopping and leaving for work will be allowed by private means of transport with up to two persons (including the driver).
