The Government of the Republic of Armenia has declared a state of emergency, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Commandant’s instructions, the activities of public catering establishments, multi-functional trade and entertainment centers are prohibited in the respective communities. That is, all the objects continue to operate until there is no order from the Commandant. It should be noted that Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan was appointed a Commandant.
During the state of emergency, state, community and non-state general education (including pre-school), pre-vocational (vocational), secondary vocational and higher education institutions, out-of-school education establishments (youth creative and aesthetic centers, music, painting and art schools, clubs, sports schools, health camps and other extracurricular organizations) as well as the educational process at international educational institutions operating in the Republic of Armenia, are terminated, except for distance learning. The limitation provided herein shall not apply to military educational institutions.
That is, schools and other institutions will be closed until April 14.
Organizations тхат аре licensed for medical care and services (irrespective of the form of ownership) provide medical care and services based on the instructions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
