The Prime Minister mentioned that yesterday and today he had had a telephone conversation with the President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan; “We have discussed the current situation. So far, no cases of coronavirus have been registered in the Artsakh Republic.

We urge our citizens to travel from Artsakh to Armenia and vice versa only in exceptional cases. We will also agree that at the checkpoints temeperature of the citizens who travel to both sides will be measured and in case of temperature we will ask the citizens to return to their places of residence,” the Prime Minister said.

Notably, during today’s special session of the government it was decided to declare a state of emergency in the Republic of Armenia from 16 March to 14 April.
