RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan has applied to the RA President Armen Sargsyan for granting RA citizenship to 1698 persons. Tigran Avinyan posted this on his Facebook page.
“Taking into consideration the Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, yesterday, I made a proposal to the RA President Armen Satkissian to grant Armenian citizenship to 1698 people. The fact that such a number of people express a desire to become a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, thus becoming part of the Armenian statehood, gives inspiration and additional strength to our work with greater responsibility and effort,” Avinyan said.
