On 27 February, 2020, by virtue of the provisions of Article 76 (4) and (5) of the “Constitutional Law of the Republic of Armenia Judicial Code”, the Head of the Judicial Department sent notices to 9 judges of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation who have the right to be elected members of the Supreme Judicial Council.

Five applications from a candidate for a member of the Supreme Judicial Council refusing to include their names in the ballot were received from the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation.

The Head of the Judicial Department shall include the names of the following 4 (four) judges in the ballot for the vacant position of the judge at the Supreme Judicial Council:

Candidate’s surname, first name, patronymic, name of court, specialization of judge

1. Antonyan Suren Rafik, (Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation)
2. Barseghyan Artak Hakob, (Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation)
3. Hakobyan Gor Gagik, Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation)
4. Mikaelyan Stepan Karo, (Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation)
