The Idea that a Good Guy is not the one who learns, but the one who squats in the Yard has been imbedded in People: Alen Simonyan

Deputy President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan posted a note on his Facebook page that criminal subculture has been incited and developed in people for decades.

“For decades, the criminal subculture has been incited and developed in people for decades. For years, this subculture has been developed to serve them, so that this subculture will give birth to centurion hyenas who will falsify elections, resolve issues, and then if needed replace the state and the law in Armenia. People have been taught that the good guy is not the working guy, but the money-maker, the good guy is not the one who learns, but the one who squats in the yard, that the good guy is not the scientist, the teacher, the doctor, the athlete, but the one solves issues at the expense of power and fear. Where the right are not the laws of the state, where the man, the citizen must be protected and everyone is equal, but the criminal law, where the stronger is the right and the more agile wins. These and many more examples are false values that are artificially rooted in our lives, that today are often the consequence of many negative phenomena, damaging and weakening Armenia. This is also the main reason for the non-statutory relations in the army that result in our children being killed.

Realize this, remember and do our best every day to strengthen the power of all of us in Armenia, and not hooligan squatting over the hatch. Together we can still prevent many calamities.

I extend my condolences to the relatives of the killed soldier.”
