Henrik Hartenyan, a member of the “My Step” faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders, wrote on his Facebook page: “Dear compatriots, based on the current situation, I apologize and consider my work in the Council of the Elders of Yerevan incompatible, so I put down my mandate.”

To note, Henrik Hartenyan, a member of the Yerevan Council of Elders from “My Step” Party posted a photo of Hrayr Tovmasyan’s daughter on his Facebook page and wrote: “H. Tovmasyan’s daughters’ FB, let me see you people.”

This post has received a great response from the public. Both the “My Step” faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders and the “Civil Contract” party, the Human Rights Defender condemned such a move by a member of the council.
