A 27-year-old man suspected of killing a 16-year-old girl has refused to have an advocate. Iravaban.net learned this form the Investigative Committee.
A criminal case has been instituted in connection with the case under Article 104 (1) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (Murder).
It should be noted that within 72 hours of his arrest, he should be charged and measure of restraints should be chosen.
Notably, on 5 January, at 23:10, the Central Police Department received a report that a young girl’s body was found in one of the apartments at 15 Sayat-Nova Avenue in Yerevan. The investigative teams, which arrived by alarm, found that there was evidence of violence on the neck of the 16-year-old girl living in the apartment on a rented basis.
