Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (ERGC) has launched a second wave of strikes on two US military bases in Iraq, including the Ain al-Assad air base.
Tasnim Agency reports. The Iranian side has fired dozens of surface-to-surface missiles.
US officials have confirmed the information and US President Donald Trump has reported the attack. The ERGC has called on the United States to withdraw troops from the Middle East to avoid large numbers of casualties.

“All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning,” he said
Notably, one of the most influential Iranian military commanders, General Sulaiman Jassem Sulaiman Ali Abo Ghaith, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) special unit named “Jods”, was killed early in the morning by the order of US President Donald Trump on January 3.
