Former Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan is wanted. SIS spokeswoman Marina Ohanjanyan told Iravaban.net about it.

“A petition has been filed to the court to choose arrest as a measure of restraint for Gevorg Kostanyan,” she said.

Earlier, a decision was made to involve Gevorg Kostanyan as a defendant. In accordance with Article 203 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, he was required to appear within 48 hours at the body conducting the proceedings to bring charges. He did not represent the SIS.

Notably, the Special Investigation Service had issued a statement to charge the former Police Chief Alik Sargsyan, and there, the names of Gevorg Kostanyan and former deputy police chief Gevorg Mheryan were mentioned as well.
