Gevorg Kostanyan has been involved as a Defendant in the March 1 Case

Former Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan has been indicted as a defendant. Maria Ohanjanyan, Press Secretary of SIS informed this to Iravaban.net.

Under Article 203 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code, he was asked to appear within 48 hours at the body conducting the proceedings to bring charges.

Notably, earlier the Special Investigation Service issued a statement to charge the former Police Chief Alik Sargsyan, and there, the names of Gevorg Kostanyan and former deputy police chief Gevorg Mheryan were mentioned as well.
