Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s official visit to Italy continues. The Prime Minister of Armenia is in Milan.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with his spouse Anna Hakobyan, visited the Milan Catholic Cathedral today, walked around the cathedral, got acquainted with the architecture and history of the temple of great historical and cultural value.
The Milan Cathedral, “Duomo di Milano”, is a Gothic- style cathedral located in the administrative center of Lombardy, Italy. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan. It is 108 meters high and can house up to 40,000 people at a time. Milan Gothic Cathedral is the 4th largest in the world and the third largest in Europe. The temple has numerous marble towers that are attached to each other pillars. Construction began in 1386 and ended in 1813. The Gothic style of the cathedral is intertwined with elements of the Renaissance culture, with the main symbol of the cathedral being the golden statue of “La Madonnina”; Patroness of Milan.
