During the briefing on 1 November, the Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan answered the journalists’ questions regarding the changes and progress made after the negotiations over the peaceful settlement process of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.

“Within the parameters of our status and security we are trying to identify or develop those that best meet our concerns, and our main priorities,” the Minister said.

Responding to the question that there is currently no negotiation between the leaders on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and this increases the possibility of war, the minister noted that he could not agree with the formulation, because when the process takes place and foreign affairs ministers of both sides meet. Ministers do not meet in their own personal format, they represent their country, and naturally each negotiation phase is led by the countries’ leaders.
