The Head of the SCS has been included in the Anti-Corruption Policy Council

According to the RA Prime Minister’s Decision N 1529-N dated 23.10.2019 (entered into force on 29.10.2019) amending and supplementing RA Prime Minister’s decision N 808-N dated 24.06.2019, the Head of the RA State Control Service was included in the Anti-Corruption Policy Council.

This is reported by the EAR.

The following is the full composition of the Anti-Corruption Policy Council:

  1. RA Prime Minister (Chairman of the Council)
  2. RA Deputy Prime Minister (sector coordinator)
  3. Chief of Staff of the RA Prime Minister
  4. Head of the State Control Service of the Republic of Armenia
  5. Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia
  6. Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia (sector coordinator)
  7. Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council (by consent)
  8. President of the Court of Cassation (by consent)
  9. RA Prosecutor General (by consent)
  10. Chairperson of the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials (by consent)
  11. Human Rights Defender (by consent)
  12. Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs (by consent)
  13. Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs (by consent)
  14. One Representative of the NA factions (by consent)
  15. Five representatives of civil society organizations (by consent).
