The Director of the Quality Assurance Centre of Agrarian University Vahagn Asryan was accused in demanding 3000 USD for issuing a fake diploma to Anjela Jangiryan. He agreed upon getting half of the money in 2013, while issuing a diploma, and he took 1500 USD in September 2012 with the purpose to bribe Zh. Azizbekyan, the Councilor to the Rector, who did not accept a bribe.
The recognizance not to leave was selected as a measure of restraint.
The case is in the proceeding of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Ajapnyak and Davitashen Administrative Districts, and the next court session will be hold on 21 January 2013, at 14.00 p.m.
Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by the court verdict lawfully entered into force as prescribed by Criminal Procedure Code.
