Catholicos of All Armenians will not be granted State Protection: The Government rejected the Proposed Bill

The Government refused to provide state protection to the Catholicos of All Armenians. The draft was prepared by MP Mihran Hakobyan.

Notably, until now state protection has been provided to:

1) the President of the Republic of Armenia,

2) the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia,

3) the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
