By the prime minister’s instruction, SRC scheduled shift work at some customs subdivisions on holidays and pre-holiday days. On SRC chairman’s instruction, to ensure unhampered operations related to customs clearance of goods moved across the customs border by economic entities carrying out foreign economic activity, as well as individuals, shift work has been appointed on December 17, 18, 24, 25, 31 and during the period January 3 through 8 from 10.00 to 16.00.
FEA participants, individuals and customs representatives have been communicated the shift work schedule, and the contact details of persons in charge have been placed on information boards at custom points.
On SRC chairman’s instruction, the first deputy, the heads of the departments of Pre-clearance Control, Fight against Smuggling and Double Customs Control will periodically pay joint visits to monitor the due level of service.
The department of Pre-clearance Control, Fight against Smuggling and the Double Customs Control and border customs bodies will carry out strengthened control on holidays and pre-holiday days.
