On 9 September 2016, the session of the Council of Justice was held. The Council discussed the issue of proposing the candidates of for the vacant positions of judges of the Criminal Chamber of the RA Cassation Court and the Civil Court of Appeal of the RA.
The RA Council of Justice, governed by Article 95, Points 2 and 3 of the Constitution of the RA, Article 142, Points 3 and 4, Article 144, Article 147, Part 2, Article 149 and Article 111. Part 1 decided to:
1. Present Lilit Tadevosyan’s candidature to the RA President for the appointment in the position of Judge of the Criminal Chamber of the RA Cassation Court, terminating her authorities of the judge of the Criminal Court of Appeal.
2. Present Armen Mkrtchyan’s candidature to the RA President for the appointment in the position of Judge of the Civil Court of Appeal of the RA.
