The attorney of RA Chamber of attorneys gave a report that the functionaries of Ashtarak division of Aragatsotn marz department of RA Police carrying out a special service, through the abuse of their official position, prevented the execution of his powers as an attorney and on 17 July 2016 from 13:00 until next day 15:00, didn’t let him enter the mentioned division of police and meet D.N., having illegally been kept in the police station over 32 hours, to provide with legal support.
Based on the attorney’s report, a criminal case was initiated in RA Special Investigation Service under part 1 of Articles 309 and 332.3 of RA Criminal Code on the incidents of the abuse of official position and the prevention of attorneys’ duties by the functionaries of Ashtarak division of Aragatsotn marz department of RA Police carrying out a special service.
A preliminary investigation is being carried out.
