Head of the Police Public Relations Department Ashot Aharonian writes on his Facebook page:
“One of the media outlets has spread information on hearing shots in Gyumri. The information has nothing to do with reality. It has also been noted that an armed soldier escaped from Russian military base. In response to the Local Police inquiry, Gyumri military base informed that no weapons and ammunition had been taken out.
Once again, we urge the mass media not to aggravate the situation with unchecked information.”
