President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on appointing new judges.
The decree reads:
“Governed by Clause 11 of Article 55 of the RA Constitution with changes of 2005; based on Artiocle 140, Clause 1, Point 1 and Article 144 Glause 5, and based on the conclusions of 13 May, 2016, AKh-9-E-10, and AKh-9-E-11, of the RA Council of Justice I decide to:
1. Appoint Aleksander AZARYAN as a judge of the RA Criminal Court of Justice, terminating his authorities of the Judge of the Court of First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Shengavit Administrative District of Yerevan City.
2. Appoint Rubik MKHITARYAN as a judge of the RA Criminal Court of Justice, terminating his authorities of the Judge of the Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Administrative Districts of Yerevan City.
3. Repeal Clauses 1 and 3 of the Criminal Division of specialization of Paragraph 1 of the Annex approved by the Presidential Decree of 9 November 2010 Decision of the RA President on the “The approval of the promotion list for appointment as a judge at the Courts of Appeals.”
