We call to the international community, and in particular, to the countries involved in the process of regulation of Karabakh Conflict, to suspend the Azerbaijani continued infringements and aggravation of the situation. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians issued a a statement which reads:
“We strongly condemn the attacks carried out by Azerbaijan along Karabakh border, which are directed against settlements and civilians as well. We pray and prayers and express our support to the authorities and people of Nagorno Karabakh, and valorous commanders and soldiers of the Defense Army.
We urge to resist with unreducible courage and resolute faith the hostilities against independence of the homeland and security of our people. Azerbaijani ongoing provocations and military actions undermine the stability in the region and weaken the efforts aimed to resolve the conflict.

We pray that the Lord will give comfort to the victims’ souls in heaven’s luminous floors, consolation to relatives and a quick recovery to the wounded. Let God be the guardian and protector of the Armenian Army the protector of peace.”
