A Note was found from the Pocket of the killed Cadet’s Jacket

Today, the trial of 19-year-old cadet Haykaz Barseghyan’s death case was continued at the First Instance Court of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative districts. Before proceeding to study the evidence, the court examined the motions to join all other cases connected with Haykaz’s death in one proceeding.

Specifically, Ara Zakaryan representing the accused Gnel Tevosyan’s rights filed a motion to to join Karen Baghramyan’s case to this case as there was a trouble that in a separate investigation they would apply more lenient sentence against him and he would not talk about the application of illegal methods against him during the preliminary investigation. In this case the court would be bound with the sentence taken in the other case.

The defense party joined to the motion and advocate Hovik Arsenyan added that they were informed about Karen Baghramyan’s case from the press that there was a motion to consider the case they used an accelerated manner.

The prosecutor objected to the motion, whereas the injured party left it to the discretion of the court. The court, presided by Judge David Harutyunyan, decided that at this stage of investigation the issue of joining the cases in one proceeding could not be examined.

Then the stage of examination of the evidence started. Namely, it became known that during the examination of the scene on January 29, bloody traces were found in the area of the sport ground of Military Institute, the staircase, on the jackets in some shelves in the recreation room of the cadets. A note was found from the pocket of the killed Haykaz Barseghyan’s jacket. The note read: “No one is to blame, I am just tired of the fuss, sorry”

On January 31, the additional examination reavealed that the board of Haykaz Barseghyan’s bed was cracked, and a knife with blood traces was found under the stand of bed.
