The Prime Minister’s Decision. How much Money is allocated for Foreign Delegations during the Referendum?

On 2 November 2, the Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan signed a Decree 1032-A on allocation of funds to receive the foreign delegations that will arrive in Armenia during the referendum on the RA Constitution.

In particular the decision indicates that delegations of the central Electoral Commissions from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Association of European Election Officials (ACEEEO), Association of European Election Officials (ACEEEO), The Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB), Representatives of the Venezuelan Electoral Court (36 people) will arrive in Armenia to conduct the observers’ mission.

In order to cover the expenses for organization and carrying out of ceremonial events scheduled in the framework of the visits, as well as to cover the expenses of the delegations in “Zvartnots” International Airport, fuel for the vehicles, souvenirs, official lunch, accommodations and other expenses of the event a sum of 13 million 611 thousand AMD (over 36 thousand USD) is allocated from the state budget.
