In the result of investigatory and procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of violence used against Smbat Hakobyan were found, the persons having committed the apparent crime were identified.
It was earlier informed that on September 21, 2015 a report was received from S. Hakobyan informing that on the same day unknown persons argued with him in Abovyan Street during which they hit several parts of his body with hands, feet and other objects inflicting him bodily damages.
According to S. Hakobyan’s history of disease “close fracture of chest, fracture of the eighth rib, pneumothorax, subcutaneous emphysema on the right” was diagnosed.
On September 22, 2015 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code.
During preliminary investigation the injured party was interrogated, a number of urgent investigatory and procedural actions were conducted. According to the results of investigation on September 23, 2015 the residents of Yerevan, Ararat Grigoryan born in 1978, Hakob Petrosyan born in 1984 and Armen Sargsyan born in 1979 were apprehended on suspicion of committing the mentioned criminal act and on the same day they were arrested.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
