On September 18 the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan received Bassam Muhhamad Alqabandi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the RA.
Welcoming the guest the NA Speaker highlighted the more development of the bilateral relations, the further deepening of the inter-parliamentary relations of the two countries and the development of the trade-economic cooperation. In the word of the Head of the parliament, there is big potential of development of cooperation between Armenia and Kuwait in the political, economic, cultural and other spheres.
Thanking for the reception the NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan Bassam Muhhamad Alqabandi conveyed him the congratulatory message and best wishes of the Speaker of the Kuwait National Assembly Marzouq Al-Ghanim on the occasion of RA Independence Day. The Ambassador also highlighted the deepening of inter-parliamentary cooperation, which according to him, will essentially promote the activation of bilateral ties in all directions.
In the course of the meeting the sides also touched upon the process of the constitutional reforms, the regional problems and other issues of bilateral interest.
