“INTER RAO Holding B.V.” Company has applied to the RA Government informing about the intention to alienate the 100 % shares of the “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC which it owns on property rights to “Liormand Holdings Limited” Company.
The issue was on the agenda of today’s session of the Government. Yervand Zakharyan, the Minister of Energy and Natural resources introduced this at the session.
The Government decided to study the “Liormand Holdings Limited” Company’s compliance to the required standards, negotiate and develop a draft contract under which the “Liormand Holdings Limited” Company will completely undertake all the obligations of the buyer arising from the contract on share sale of “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC (including all the future amendments) signed between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and “Midland Resources Holding LTD” on 26 August 2002 (including the obligations that are provided for the strategic investor under the “RA Law on Privatization of “Yerevan Electric Network”, “Northern Electric Network”, Southern electric Network and “Central Electric Network” Closed Joint Stock Companies” and the “RA Energy Law” ).
The I-cyprus.com website informs that the “Liormand Holdings Limited” Company was registered in Cyprus in 2010.
