At today’s Government session, the RA Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan introduced a draft that referred to the judgments of the European Court of Justice.
She noted that for the purposes to meet the requirements of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights made on 31 March 2015 on the cases “Nalbandyan v. Armenia” and “Davtyan v. Armenia”, a sum of 71,160 EUROs equivalent in the RA currency should be allocated from the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia, of which:
1) 62,100 EUROs equivalent in the RA currency should be allocated as compensation in the case “Nalbandyan v. Armenia,”
2) 9,060 EUROs equivalent in the RA currency should be allocated as compensation in the case “Davtyan v. Armenia”.
The Government approved the draft.
