Today the Court of General Jurisdiction of Arabkir and Kanaker Zeytun Administrative Districts of Yerevan under presiding Judge Levon Avetisyan continued the case investigation of freedom fighter Volodya Avetisyan, Volodya Avetisyan’s friend met him with applause.
Despite the objection of the defense, the Court decided to publicize the prejudicial investigation evidences of the witnesses Henrik Haroyan, Osanna Zakaryan, Tsovinar Yeghoyan and Vardan Karapetyan, though the last three are currently out of the republic.
“This is an evidence of a mentally handicapped person! How do you publicize it?” Susanna Margaryan, the supporter of the defendant interrupted the court session angrily from the courtroom. Her dissatisfaction related to Henrik Haroyan’s evidences.
The bailiffs managed with great difficulty to make her leave the courtroom for interrupting the session.
“Leave the courtroom and please return when you will calm down,” Judge Levon Avetisyan said.
The judge was unable to establish order in the courtroom for a long time. Volodya Avetisyan’s supporters did not comply with his decisions to leave the courtroom. The bailiffs were unable to draw out the people who hampered the court session. The Judge mentioned that they could apologize and stay in the courtroom. However they did not comply with this demand as well and the Judge had to continue the court session.
