Independent journalist Adrine Torosyan has filed a lawsuit against the theater critic Levon Mutafyan, demanding a public apology for defamation and to pay compensation of 1 million AMD for the moral damage caused.
Adrine Torosyan told to Iravaban.net that the subject of her claim was posted in Facebook Social Network, where Mutafyan allowed insulting expressions about the journalist. She said that those words in addition to insulting her honor and dignity, as well as cast shadow over her reputation. According to the claim, Levon Mutafyan should apologize in the Facebook page of “Hraparak” newspaper where he had left his insulting comment.
The application was submitted to the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash Administrative Districts and was signed by Judge Arayik Melkumyan.
