On March 2 the RA NA Deputy Speaker met with the students from the faculties of the International Relations and Philosophy and Psychiatry of Yerevan State University and European Regional Academy passing practice in the parliament. By the NA Deputy Speaker’s proposal the meeting was held in the format of Q & A session. In the warm and intimate atmosphere of conducted meeting for more than two hours Eduard Sharmazanov answered the questions concerning the students, which mainly related to the inner-political situation and the occurred processes, constitutional reforms, the inner and foreign policy, the electoral processes, the tax administration and power-opposition relations, the process of recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the commemoration events dedicated to its Centennial, etc.
Touching upon the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, the NA Deputy Speaker has informed that the events will be organized both in Armenia and in other countries. Particularly, in the upcoming months in the parliaments of a number of countries: Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Cyprus and Greece, photo exhibitions dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide will be held. In this context the NA Deputy Speaker has been informed that a new phase of recognition of genocides begins in 2015. The process of the recognition of the Armenian genocide will continue to remain one of the most important issues of our country, as well as the struggle against the denial.
